Comments: I was a mbr of 4453 from Dec 1963(McDill) to July 1966 (Davis-Monthan). Transfered to 366 TFS Da Nang Discharged Aug 1967. Question ? Has there ever been talk about a reunion of those who served in the unit either in Fl or Az. or both. Let me know I would attend such an event.

Comments: Excellent Site! Saw quite a few familiar names. Missed even more names, like Vito Gaigalis (Sp?) Bruce Hobbs, Bob Bennett, Rick Bell, Chief Converse, Richard Chenais, and many others. I was just 9 months at DM, enough to get my J30151, volunteer for Cam Ranh Bay and meet Suzanne (almost 30 years married). My high school ring is still buried somewhere in Sabino Canyon. See you somewhere in cyberspace PB

Comments: I used to wrench F-4E's and occasionally F-4D's at Hahn AB, Germany with the 50th TFW from Nov 74 - Oct 76. Then transferred to Edwards AFB for two years on the F-15 Joint Task Force; working mainly on the first two seater 71-290. Way cool.

Comments: Hello Tucson, I am the fellow that was in the F-4 from Nellis that crashed at DM in December of 1967 killing four Tucson women. Flew 213 missions with the 390th TFS at DaNang in 1968 and 1969. Spent some time in the hospital before returning to Las Vegas. The people of Tucson were great to me. Lots of get well cards -- no hate mail. Love them all! Not the best dollar ride on record.

Quite a sight and fighting to get in the cockpit!!! transfered to Edwards AFB in Nov 1963 for the F4C Test Force. Back to MacDill Nov 1964. We moved the 12 TFW to Camh Ranh Bay in Nov of 1965.

Comments: Hi!! I was assigned to DM in March, 67, 803 Combat Support Group, and was the personal equipment technician for the 4454th squadron Mar. 67-until TAC authorized its own personal equipment troops. SSGT Tom Harmer, MSGT Norm Bechtel, a couple of the men I served with. I rec'd a zero defects award from the squadron before I left....a lot of pleasant memories. I'd like to hear from anyone that may have known me there.
